My New Wind-Up Toy
My new ball winder and my first wound ball. I am so proud!
I don't have a swift, so I just looped the yarn over the back of a chair. I had to go slow, but it worked. I'm contemplating buying a swift. Joann's has a 40% off coupon right now. It may be worth it.

oh the swift is defiantely worth every penny. Knitpick.com also has a nice wooden one for like $62 and free shipping. Works like a charm and will do them iall those nice skeins for you in no time at all.....Have fun!

Yeah for the wind up toys! I too just got my winder on Saturday. I've been playing already. I'm eyeing the swift as well. . . .
